World Class Education Programs with Experienced Instructors

Virginia EMS Training Group is affiliated with the American Heart Association (AHA) as an authorized Training Site aligned with Eastern Virginia Medical School - Tidewater Center for Life Support to teach Heartsavers, BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS and the NEW Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS). We conduct traditional courses and practical skills testing for students who complete Part 1 online for the various courses.

We are also affiliated with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) as an authorized Training Center to teach TCCC/TECC, TECC-LEO, PHTLS, AMLS, GEMS, EPC and EMS Safety. We have Training Center Faculty and Affiliate Faculty to help monitor and mentor NEW and Existing Instructors and Training Centers in adding new disciplines to their existing Training Center. Several of our instructors are certified as Program Specialist in NFPA 3000 Active Shooter/Hostile Event Response course and the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response (ALERRT) Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events Train-the-Trainer course. We provide the additional knowledge, skills and abilities of these proven programs in our Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course.  

Virginia EMS Training Group members are Certified as Virginia Department of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services Education Coordinators (EC). We are able to deliver FULL Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses or provide recertification hours for BLS or ALS content in Category 1 or Category 2 hours per Virginia Office of EMS regulations. We also offer study sessions to help students that may need that extra help to pass the NREMT exam.

Virginia EMS Training Group is a valued partner with the STOP the Bleed program teaching life saving skills in trauma conducting the STOP the Bleed program from professionals to community members. We have obtained an Educational License to validate our commitment to this program.

Virginia EMS Training Group started providing medical, trauma and tactical courses, but we also have several experienced instructors that are certified to teach several programs with the Department of Fire Programs to include EVOC, Firefighter 1 & 2, BPO & Rural Water, Driver Pump Operator, Driver Aerial Operator, Instructor 1 & 2, and Officer 1 & 2 to name a few.
